Obituary for Teresa Veronica McGuire (McLaughlin)

Teresa Veronica (McLaughlin) McGuire, 87, wife of Michael McGuire of Glastonbury, passed away Monday November 23, 2015 in Hartford Hospital. She was born in Houlton ME, daughter of the late Frank and Ella (McGrath) McLaughlin. Teresa was an active communicant of St. Paul Church and a member of the League of the Sacred Heart. She loved baking and was very active, especially spending time with her grandchildren. Besides her husband, Teresa leaves 5 sons, Thomas McGuire of Lebanon, Robert McGuire of San Francisco CA, Brian McGuire and his wife Carol of Glastonbury, Kevin McGuire and his wife Cathy of Lebanon, Joseph McGuire and his wife Sarah of Marlborough, a daughter Kathleen McGuire of Glastonbury and 8 grandchildren, James and Alyson McGuire Van der Wieder and her husband Kevin, Lindsay, Tyler and Kyle McGuire and Megan, Michael and Daniel McGuire. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law Noel McGuire of East Hampton, two sisters, Betty Annucci and her husband Steven of Worcester, MA, Patricia Palmucci of Concord, MA, a special niece Mary Ann Napoletano and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Jeffrey McGuire and by 3 brothers and 4 sisters, David, Richard, Mike, Christine, Barbara, Doris and Evelyn. The McGuire family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Clark House of Glastonbury and the staff of the Conklin Building of Hartford Hospital for their care.
Friends may call Sunday November 29, 2015 from 2-4 pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home 50 Naubuc Ave. Glastonbury. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Monday November 30, 2015 in St. Paul Church 2577 Main St Glastonbury. All attendees are asked to go directly to church.
