Obituary for Raymond A. Teodosio

Raymond A.  Teodosio
Raymond Andrew Teodosio, (84), beloved husband of Veronica (Rosati) Teodosio for 61 years, passed away September 11, 2014 at home surrounded by his family after a long illness. He was born in New Haven, CT on September 28, 1929 to the late Rose (Hermann) Teodosio and attended New Haven Schools, graduating from Hillhouse High School in 1947. Ray proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict as a member of the 14th Infantry Regiment of the 25th Division, and married his fiancé’, Veronica, shortly after his return from military service. He attended, and graduated from the University of New Haven’s engineering school in 1959. Ray’s career in manufacturing management included positions with Winchester Repeating Arms, General Electric, Colt Firearms and Package Machinery, from which he retired in 1993 as a Division President. He then spent the next 17 years as a self employed environmental and safety consultant, working primarily for the Warren Corporation of Stafford Springs until the end of 2010. In addition to his wife, Ray leaves his daughter, Donna McDermott and her husband Brian of Avon, his son Gary Teodosio and his wife Louise of West Hartford, and his much loved grandchildren, Emma Teodosio and Jack McDermott, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Conrad and Alfred and his sister Rosemary Carbonella.

Friends may call from 5:00 – 8:00, Monday September 15, 2014 at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd. Wethersfield. The funeral will be held Tuesday September 16, 2014 at 9:00 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect ST, Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Village Cemetery, Marsh St. Wethersfield.
