Obituary for Petro Ruco
Petro Ruco, husband of Ana (Shkurti) Ruco of Hartford passed away Tuesday August 19, 2014 in St. Francis Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born in Permet, Albania, son of the late Stefan and Afroviti (Leka) Ruco and came to America in 2008 to be with his family. Petro was a loving father and husband. He was an honest and respectful man, always with good advice when needed. Prior to coming to the United States, Petro was an accountant in Albania. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Stefan Ruco of Hartford, a daughter, Ardita (Ruco) Hinkle and her husband Carl of Bristol, a sister Eli Dhimtri of Boston and several cousins , nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 23, 2014 at 11:00 in St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 433 Fairfield Ave. Hartford, CT 06114 followed by burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery, 453 Fairfield Ave. Hartford. Friends may visit Friday August 22, 2014 from 5-8 PM at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home 34 Beaver Rd. Wethersfield, CT. with a Trisagion service at 6:00 pm.
