Obituary for Ann Mulready (Bernier)

Ann (Bernier) Mulready, 90 lifelong Hartford / West Hartford resident, peacefully passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019. Ann was born July 26, 1928, daughter to the late Clarence and Alexine (Blais) Bernier. She attended and graduated from the Hartford School System. Prior to her retirement, Ann was employed by the Aetna for many years. She was a devout Catholic who regularly attended Mass at St. Luke Church, Hartford. Ann enjoyed life, which included playing board games and cards, in particular Scrabble and Pinochle, cooking, making a wonderful stuffed cabbage, and dancing. She cherished her time with her family especially babysitting her grandchildren.
Ann will be deeply missed by her loving family, Karen Damaskos of East Hartland, George Kanapicki of New Britain, Mary Alexine of Whitefish, MT, Steve Mulready of Wethersfield, Peter Mulready of Danbury, Barbara Kiczuk of Middletown, Kathy Bendzinski of Rocky Hill; eighteen adored grandchildren, Michael, Michelle, Andrea, Alex, Lori, Cole, Amy, Molly, Danny, Roseanne, Sean, Kathleen, Patrick, MariBeth, Allison, Matthew, Erin, Emily and Sarah; fourteen cherished great grandchildren; as well as a blessed great-great grandchild. In addition, Ann’s caregiver, Nana Watson who graciously cared for her needs for the last two years. In addition to her first husband Edward Kanapicki and her second husband, Edward Mulready, Ann was predeceased by her children Edward Kanapicki, Paul Mulready and Christine Mulready and her brother Alward Bernier.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects, Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 5-7 pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Ann’s life will be Wednesday, June 5th at 10am in St. Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Ave., Hartford (attendees are asked to go directly to the church).
