My sincere condolences to Marilyn's children and grandchildren.
I met Marilyn in 1945 as we started our freshman year at StMary's High School in Lawrence,Mass. Marilyn was always a great friend and an excellent student. We had many great adventures in the 4 years and lots of fond memories.
Then Marilyn went to Salem Teachers and I went to Lowell. Junior year Marilyn transferred to Lowell. We had great fun there and our senior year we spent a week skiing at Mt Cranmore in North Conway,NH.Lots of fun
We both ended up teaching in Methuen, Mass. In 1956 I moved to CT and Marilyn was teaching in New Britain.
We maintained our friendship over the years by phone and sometimes Marilyn and Frank and Bob and I would meet for lunch.
Marilyn and I attended our 60th college reunion at U Mass Lowell. It was a time of sadness as we had lost so many of our classmates. We decided not to attend any more reunions.
I will miss my friend but know she is at peace and that she lived a good life.
My wish is that her children and grands will have a happy and successful journey throughout their lifetime..
In friendship Helen Kennedy Maurice

Marilyn was a great women and was a wonderful classmate and friend. I will miss her but know she is at peace.
I wish her children and grandchildren happy and safe journeys throughout their lifetime. I feel blest to have had Marilyn as a friend for 74 yers. Helen Kennedy Maurice
