Obituary for Daniel Anthony Pansullo Jr.

Daniel A. Pansullo, Jr., 89, of Rocky Hill, passed away December 26, 2018 at home. He was born in Hartford, son of the late Daniel A. and Mary (O’Flaherty) Pansullo, Sr. and lived in the Hartford area all of his life. Daniel was educated in the Hartford School System and went on to serve in the US Navy during World War II. Prior to his retirement, he was a Master Electronic Technician for Connecticut Natural Gas. Daniel was an active member of Shriner Sphinx Temple of Newington, was a 32 Degree Mason of the Walnut Hill Lodge, New Britain and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, the Knights of Templar, Benevolent Protective Order of Elks and the Eastern Star. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather, who was caring with a great sense of humor.
Daniel leaves his two daughters, Diane Pansullo and Karen Barrett, both of East Hartford, his granddaughter Daniellé Sjoblom, grandson Jeffrey “TG” Palmer and his great-grandchildren, Sean Barrett, Andrea Hohn, Daniel Sjoblom and Annalina Sjoblom. He was predeceased by his son Daniel A. Pansullo, III and grandson Brendan Barrett.
Friends may call on Wednesday January 2, 2019 from 4-7 PM at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Daniel’s life will be held Thursday January 3, 2018 at 10:00 AM in St. Josephine Bahkita Parish at St. James Church 767 Elm St., Rocky Hill.
