Allen W. Bradley 78, of Wethersfield, CT. and Edgartown, MA., formerly of New Britain, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2018. Son of George and Louise (Mason) Bradley (of Plainville). A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Allen was an entrepreneur at heart. Starting his career as a salesman, working his way to general manager of several car dealerships, including Crest Pontiac/Cadillac (Newington), Allen eventually owned his own dealerships – Bradcar Motors (East Hartford, CT), Spring Meadow Oldsmobile (Springfield, MA) and Bradley Chevrolet/Jeep (East Hampton, CT). During this time, he also established TVR of America, importing TVR Sports Cars from England into the United States with a dealer network across the US. Allen’s love of flying won out and he became an accomplished pilot, flying everything from small single engine aircraft to helicopters and private jets. Allen later ventured into aircraft sales & charters starting Bradley Flying Services, often traveling to Europe, Asia, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland and South Africa to acquire aircraft and pilot them himself, back to the US.
Allen also enjoyed fishing, golf, and showing his Quarter Horses, where his family spent many fun and interesting weekends. He also loved traveling and was happy to take his children & grandchildren on family vacations and introduce them to new places and cultures. He cherished his home on Martha’s Vineyard, and always enjoyed spending time there with his beloved family and pets.
Allen is survived by his wife Darlene (Kotyk) Bradley, son Kendall Bradley and his wife Kelly of Wethersfield, daughter Kendra Bradley of Brooklyn, NY., grandchildren Trevor Bradley of Boston, MA., and Taylor Bradley, a cadet at West Point Military Academy.
Allen was predeceased by his brothers, Raymond, Lawrence, George (Arnold) Bradley and sisters, Joyce Michaud, Judith Beaudoin, & Phyllis Bradley.
Following cremation, a Celebration of Life Service will be held on January 19, 2019 at First Church of Christ Congregational, 250 Main St., Wethersfield @ 11 am.

May the Family know that Allen Bradley will be in Gods memory awaiting for Him to instruct His dear Son, Jesus Christ to fulfill the words that he had spoken in John 5:28,29 which says: Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs " Or in Gods memory" will hear his "Jesus Christ" voice and come out, to a resurrection to life. So may these words bring some real comfort in the coming days ahead and know that Jehovah God thru Jesus Christ will not only bring them back but will eliminate something that causes us to be sad and that is death, as He says in 1 Cor. 15:26 which says: And the last enemy, death, will be brought to nothing. So go to to find out about more promises that Jehovah has in store for us all.

Our condolences to Darlene, Kenny, and Kendra for your recent loss. Allen was a good neighbor to our family while we lived on Blackbirch. He was so proud of his family and often made impromptu visits to our back porch which always seemed to include loads of laughter. His playful way became Integral to the fabric of our time there. We enjoyed his company and have missed it since moving away. You are in our thoughts and prayers. The Karanian’s
