Condolence: Whenever Linda walked into a room everyone seemed to smile. She always mad a bad day better by here presence. It seemed that just being Linda was enough for anyone. It was a privilege to have worked with her.

Condolence: Hartford truly was blessed to have Linda always there, always present, always so filled with joy and many creative ways to engage the public. She was a beautiful person, very loving to all she met and those fortunate enough to call her "friend." I am so sad that I did not keep in touch with her as the years passed since I ended work in Hartford. Her friends and family are fortunate to have had this bright beacon of a soul among us. How much dimmer the world is now without her in it. Let's take a page from how she lived her life and let's perpetuate the love and gusto she so easily shared with all and multiply that many times over. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this sad time. I am so happy and feel so fortunate to have known, worked with and called Linda "friend." Rest in peace my friend. Condolence: I remember Linda as someone who always had the time to explain what the city was trying to accomplish to me, a reporter for the Southside Neighborhood News. She was always forthright, patient and willing to help me understand the CDBG program as well as the many arcane details of the city. Although it has been many years since last we talked, time and distance did not diminish my deep respect for Linda as a professional. She made everyone else look good, and Hartford was all the better in having Linda as a friend.

Condolence: I worked with Linda for over 30 years, mostly when she ran Community Development and I was Housing Director for the City of Hartford. After retirement we remained close and even did some joint consulting.
She was a person of great integrity and strong convictions.
She was more than a co-worker to me. She was a dear friend.
