I remember Linda as someone who always had the time to explain what the city was trying to accomplish to me, a reporter for the Southside Neighborhood News. She was always forthright, patient and willing to help me understand the CDBG program as well as the many arcane details of the city. Although it has been many years since last we talked, time and distance did not diminish my deep respect for Linda as a professional. She made everyone else look good, and Hartford was all the better in having Linda as a friend.
