Lena (Blazawski) Zovadjancik, 98, of Glastonbury, entered eternal peace on Friday, March 23, 2018, at Hartford Hospital. Born in Glastonbury, November 2, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Kunikewich) Blazawski. She resided in Glastonbury all her life. Prior to her retirement, Lena was employed by Pratt and Whitney Aircraft for many years. Lena leaves her brother, Charles Blazawski of Glastonbury; her sister Helen Martocchia of Spring Hill, FL; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Albert Zovadjancik; two brothers Samuel Blazawski and Raymond Blazawski; and two sisters Stephanie Demers and Nina Catana.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects to the family Monday, April 2, 2018 from 9:30-10:30am at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Ave., Glastonbury. Services will continue with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11am in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 26 New London Turnpike, Glastonbury. Interment will follow the Liturgy in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, 1458 New London Turnpike, Glastonbury.
