Margaret D. "Peg"  Curran (Donohue)
Margaret “Peg” (Donohue) Curran, 92, of Hartford, beloved wife of the late Patrick J. Curran, peacefully passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017, surrounded by her loving friends. Margaret was born July 2, 1925 and raised in Hartford, daughter of the late Timothy and Marcella (Brennan) Donohue.
Along with her husband and parents, Peg was predeceased by her son Kevin P. Curran; her brothers Timothy, James and Edward Donohue; and sisters Catherine and Teresa Donohue.
Margaret is survived by her grandchildren Dashel and Romi Curran, their mother, Helen Fielding, all of Los Angeles, CA and London, England. Peg also leaves nieces and nephews in Arizona and England; as well as many friends in the Hartford area.
Margaret lived in Hartford her entire life and was very active with the St. Augustine Parish family. She was retired from the State of Connecticut, Department of Transportation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, December 18, 2017 at 11am in St. Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Avenue, Hartford. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peg’s memory to St. Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Avenue, Hartford, CT 06114.
The Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, Wethersfield has been entrusted with Peg’s arrangements.
