Obituary for Josephine Listro (Randazzo)

Josephine Listro of Cromwell, beloved wife of the late Santo Listro died on April 9, 2017 at the age of 93. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Carmelina Randazzo of Wethersfield. Born in Hartford, Josephine resided in Wethersfield for 61 years. She leaves her devoted daughters and sons-in-law Marianne (Charles) Carcio, Phyllis (Richard) Smith and Virginia Listro. She also leaves her cherished grandchildren and their spouses Andrea (John) Lauria, Matthew (Amy) Carcio, Justin (Jennifer) Smith and Jonathan Carcio. She also leaves four precious great grandchildren Nicholas and Matthew Cusano; Isabelle and Everly Smith and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her unborn son Danny, sister Lucy Odell, brothers Salvatore and Sebastian Randazzo, sister-in-law Marie Randazzo and brother-in-law George Odell. At Josephine’s request, there are no calling hours. There will be a Mass of Christian burial at Corpus Christi Church in Wethersfield on Tuesday, April 11 at 12:00pm. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church. Interment will be at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
