Patricia Anne  Zerio (Malvey)
Patricia (Malvey) Zerio, wife of the late Donald E. Zerio, formerly of Hartford, passed away peacefully, May 15, 2016. She was born in Boston, MA, daughter of the late Timothy F. and Helen (Finn) Malvey and moved to Hartford at a young age Patricia was a graduate of Our Lady of Sorrows Grammar School and Bulkeley High School, Class of ’50. Prior to her retirement, she was a secretary for the Visiting Nurse Association for most of her career. Patricia was an active member of the Mountain Laurel Chapter of the Sweet Adelines and the award winning Barber Shop Quartet, the Chansonettes, a beautiful soprano voice. She was also a member of the St. Augustine Church Choir.
Patricia leaves her four sons, Stephen Zerio and his wife Carrie of Meriden, Daniel Zerio and his wife Renee of Glastonbury, Timothy Zerio and his wife Dorothy of Bristol and Donald Zerio and his wife Celeste of Pleasanton, CA. She also will be remembered by her grandchildren, Alexander and his wife Rachelle, John, Emma, Zachary, Tyler, Rose, Donald, Christopher, Brandon and many cousins of the Malvey family. As per Patricia’s wishes, the services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made in Patricia’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
