Obituary for Michael H. Mullan

Michael Mullan recently passed on to eternal life. Born to caring and loving parents on November 2, 1974, he was raised and lived in the Glastonbury area for all his life. He attended St James School and Assumption prior to Glastonbury High School, and, as a lifelong learner, continued his studies at Manchester Community College. A master at his craft, he was a skilled mason, with a work ethic and a commitment to perfection to guide his work.

The Mets, Islanders, Broncos, Celtics, and UConn Huskies were his teams and he prided himself on his sports knowledge and willingness to defend them. He enjoyed playing pool, listening to music, and he was an avid reader and dog lover. Having visited Northeast Ireland with his family at a young age, he became aware of the importance of social justice. Kind, Generous, Big Hearted, Humble, Spiritual, Loyal, and Loving are only a few of the ways those who cared for him have described Mike to his family.
In addition to the many people whose lives he's touched during his life, he leaves behind his parents, Kate and Hugh Mullan, Sisters, Tara Mullan Rousseau and her husband, Michael, Colleen Mullan and her husband Bill Price, and Erin McBride and her husband, Scott. A doting and playful uncle, he always looked forward to spending time with his nephews and niece, Pearce, Deirdre, and Will. He will be forever deeply missed by those who loved his gentle spirit and will never be forgotten.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home in Glastonbury, 50 Naubuc Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Dunstan, 1345 Manchester Road, Glastonbury.
