Carlino  Dondero
Carlino Dondero, 84, husband of Maria (Discenza) Dondero of Newington, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2018 in The Atrium of Rocky Hill. He was born in Italy on October 26, 1933, son of the late Antonio and Chiara Dondero. Prior to his retirement, Carlino was a Machinist for the Stanadyne Corporation. He was a member of the Baranello Club of Newington, the North Italian Home Club and the Italian-American Political Society. Carlino loved playing Bocce, bowling, gardening, hunting, fishing and playing cards.
Besides his wife, Carlino leaves his son Anthony Dondero of Rocky Hill and his brothers and sisters, Mario Dondero, Giorgio Dondero, Piera Maggioratto and Teresa Bisso all of Italy, in-laws, Giovanni and Philomena Discenza of Wethersfield; and Biaggio Discenza of Rocky Hill, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call the family on Tuesday April 10, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield. The funeral will be held on Wednesday April 11, 2018 at 9:15 am from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in Corpus Christi Church of Christ the King Parish, 601 Silas Deane Hwy, Wethersfield. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, 580 Elm St, Rocky Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter
