Francis J. Mullane, 89, of Glastonbury, passed away January 12, 2018 in Portland Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Hartford on October 27, 1928, son of the late Francis J. and Carolyn (Wittmann) Mullane. He attended Hartford Schools and graduated from Bulkeley High School. He went on to graduate from Trinity College. Francis served stateside in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Prior to his retirement in 1986, he was employed by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for 37 years.
Francis leaves his two sons and a daughter, Thomas Mullane and his wife Robyn Rifkin of Glastonbury, Anne Mullane Robida and her partner Steve Park of Bristol, TN, and Robert Mullane and his partner Halley Moore of Templeton, CA, as well as three grandchildren, Jack Beman, Kristine Robida, and Clancy Mullane. He is also survived by his brother, Donald Mullane and his wife Lucinda of FL, his former wife Maureen Mullane of Glastonbury, and his companion of several years Barbara Tinder of Glastonbury.
