Obituary for Mary C. "Mae" Raymond (Costello)

Mary C. "Mae" Raymond (Costello)
On January 6, 2018 Mae Raymond was reunited in heaven with her mother, father and two brothers. She was born in Hartford where she later raised her three children. Her greatest passion was caring for her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. For several years she worked at Trinity College Child Care, where every baby she cared for was “good as gold”.
She loved playing cards, Bingo, and traveling to Ireland, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be forever missed by her three children, Donna Horan and husband Michael, Terry Raymond and Danny Raymond. Four adored granddaughters Kristan, Stacey, Amie & Shannon; and seven great grandchildren Shane, Austin, Skyler, Macie, Quinn, Gabbie, and Parker. She leaves two special sisters-in-law, Ann and Connie, and many friends at The Lodge especially Lois. Mae was predeceased by her two brothers George and Jack. Special thanks to Valerie and her staff, Kathy and her girls. Mom loved you all.
Services will be private. In memory of Mae’s love of animals, donations may be made to Dog Star Rescue PO Box 721 Canton, CT 06109 or Kenways’ Cause c/o associates Federal Credit Union 500 Day Hill Road Windsor CT 06095.
