Obituary for Peter M. Duffy

Peter Michael Duffy, 60, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 18, 2017. Peter was a lifelong West Hartford resident. He was a graduate of Conard High School, and the University of Hartford, earning a B.S. in Electronic Engineering. Peter was the son of the late James P. and Veronica (Kelly) Duffy, born on November 13, 1957. He leaves behind his sister, Maryellen Duffy and Romulo Lima of West Hartford, and his brothers, Robert Duffy of Hartford, and James F. and his wife Mary Lou Tuohy Duffy of Old Lyme. He also leaves behind his nieces Audra Battistini, and her husband Chris, and Allison Froggatt, as well as grand nephews, Carter Froggatt, and Ryan Battistini, and grand nieces, Sydney Froggatt, and Mia Battistini. Peter also leaves behind many cousins, and lifelong friends including Gary Henneberry and Tom Shea. Peter was predeceased by his sister, Laurie Duffy and her daughter, Shana Duffy. The family would like to thank the staff of The Reservoir, and Saint Francis Hospital. He treasured all the care and kindness he received. Family and friends may visit Thursday November 30, 2017 from 8:30- 9:30 AM at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at Corpus Christi Church of Christ the King Parish, 601 Silas Deane Hwy, Wethersfield at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Mount St Benedict Cemetery, 1 Cottage Grove Rd., Bloomfield. To extend online condolences, please visit Farleysullivan.com.
