The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Nadia Panachyd can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Horace Lawrence
Condolence: My sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. Be assured that the almighty God truly cares for the family!

May you find comfort in the promise that "... there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous" (Acts 24:15), and very soon "... no resident will say, 'I am sick'" (Isa. 33:24) because "... death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”(Rev. 21:4)

How is this possible? Visit JW. ORG and search for 'Why did Jesus die?'. Then watch the video.

Condolence: I first met Mrs. Panachyd in 1963, when I was a senior at Weaver and met Jack Panachyd, when we were part of a group visiting Harvard. Jack became my roommate and since that time Jack remained my best friend. I visited Mrs. Panachyd many times, and got to know her very well. Mrs Panachyd and my mother spoke frequently on the telphone (usually once per week), over a 40 year period. We will all miss her.

Condolence: My memory of Nadia Panachyd is of a beautiful, intelligent, gracious and kind woman who was proud of her Ukrainian heritage, home and family. She revered her husband and adored her sons. The trials and tribulations the Panachyds and other Ukrainians endured before coming to this country were incredibly heart wrenching. Yet she would not dwell on the past, always counting her blessings. Despite sadness at her passing, there is joy in knowing she is reuniting with her family members in heaven.
