Patricia Ann (Murphy) Kieselback, 89, of Hartford, wife of the late Arthur O. Kieselback, passed away peacefully Friday, September 15, 2017 at Avery Heights in Hartford. Patricia was born August 12, 1928 in North Adams, MA, to the late John and Kathryn (Oshman) Murphy. Prior to her retirement, Patricia was employed for many years as a dedicated caregiver to the elderly at Avery Heights Nursing Facilities. She was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who lived for her family. Patricia will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her children; Kathleen Lopez of Wethersfield, Sharon Murphy of Rhode Island, Eileen Crosby and her husband Keith of Farmington, John Kieselback of Simsbury, and Thomas Kieselback and his fiancé, Susan Flynn of Suffield; her grandchildren, Michael Lopez, Kristina Walling, John Slusarz, Greg Slusarz, Brian Slusarz, Kyle Slusarz, Jason Crosby and his wife Alana, Kevin Crosby and his wife Rachel, Taylor Kieselback, Molly Kieselback, Susan Kieselback, Megan Kieselback, Ellie Kieselback and Sage Kieselback, as well her four great grandchildren, Jake, Michael, Sophia and Emma. Patricia also leave her brother, John Murphy of Pennsylvania and was predeceased by her sister, Kathleen Murphy. The Kieselback family would like to thank the staff of Avery Heights for the compassionate care given to Patricia while she was a patient there. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Patricia’s life will be held Thursday, September 21 at 10am in Corpus Christi Church of Christ the King Parish, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield (attendees are asked to go directly to the church). Interment will follow the Mass in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. The Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield has been entrusted with her care.
