Raymond Charles "Ray"  Sahadi
Raymond Charles “Ray” Sahadi, 66 of Vernon and East Hartford, loving son, brother, grandfather, uncle and dear friend, peacefully passed away with his mother by his side, Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in East Hartford. He went on to join his partner Jesse Fryer, who predeceased him. Ray was born December 13, 1950 and raised in Hartford one of five children to Geraldine (St.Laurent) Sahadi of East Hartford and the late Charles R. Sahadi. He attended and graduated from the Hartford School System. Prior to his retirement, Ray was employed in the healthcare industry. He was a very talented, creative and gentle man. Along with his mother Geraldine, Ray will be dearly missed by his four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Charlene and Glen Scott of Bolton, Cynthia Fisher of Vernon, Trudy McAllister of East Hartford and Apryl O’Brien and her husband P.H., of Redding, MA; ten nieces and nephews; in addition to 13 great nieces and nephews; a step son Dennis (Page) Fryer; two grandsons, Zackery and Keith Fryer all in California; and many close friends. A Graveside service will be held Friday, August 25, 2017 at 1pm directly in Silver Lane Cemetery (Section BB), East Hartford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to PAWS (People Helping Animals), PO Box 1037, Lynnwood, WA 98046. Ray’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Ave. Glastonbury. To extend online condolences and/or share a memory, please visit farleysullivan.com.
