John Dennis White, 55, of Rocky Hill, passed away Sunday May 14, 2017 at home. He was born in Hartford on July 25, 1961, son of the late Edward J. and Annette (Nickle) White. He was a graduate of Rocky Hill High School and lived in Rocky Hill his entire life. John has been employed as a Mechanic for the Connecticut Transit Company for the last 37 years. He was a big Red Sox and NY Giants fan and enjoyed going to the casino and playing a good game of chance. John also devoted the last ten years taking care of his mother in her final years. He is survived by his brothers and sister, Kevin T. White, his wife Diane and their children, Jeffrey and Michael of Tolland, Brian P. White of Middletown and Patrice (White) Modeen and her husband Vaughn of South Windsor. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating John’s life will be held Saturday May 20, 2017 at 9:30am in St. James Church, 767 Elm St, Rocky Hill. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private.
