Obituary for A. Arline Lyman

A. Arline Lyman of Wethersfield passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Hartford Hospital. Arline was born February 22, 1922 in Meriden, the daughter of the late George and Rachael (McAllister) Lyman. She lived in the greater Hartford area all her life. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the Federal Government. Arline is survived by a sister, Marion Sullivan of Wethersfield; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, who will always admire her independence, be grateful for her kindness and be kept warm with memories of her sweet smile and love. In addition to her parents, Arline was predeceased by two brothers, George and Edward Lyman and a sister, Margaret Scully. There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Arline's life will be held Monday, March 13, 2017 at 10am in the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect St., Wethersfield (attendees are asked to go directly to church). Interment will follow the Mass in Village Cemetery, Marsh St., Old Wethersfield. Arline's funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield.
