Obituary for Geraldine Brady (Johnston)

Geraldine “Geri” (Johnston) Brady, 62 of East Hartford, beloved wife of John S. Brady, peacefully passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 at West Hartford Health & Rehab after a long and courageous battle with Leukemia. Geri was born November 10, 1953 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Richard Johnston and Geraldine and Earl Robinson, with whom she was raised. She spent most of her early years in the Bristol / Terryville area moving to East Hartford 18 years ago. Geri had a great passion for family as well as being a Dog Breeder and owner of Terravilla Kennels. Along with her husband John, Geri will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family, a son Aaron Kempton; three brothers, Jim and John Johnston and Earl Robinson; two sisters, Leda Robinson and Lucille Hemmer; an adored and cherished granddaughter Ciara Kempton. In addition to her parents, Geri was predeceased by three siblings, Ricky, Keith and Kathy Johnston. A gathering of remembrance for friends and family will be Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 10am – 12pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd. Wethersfield. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations are made to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
