Condolence: Dear Lynne, Michael, Lisa, Steven, Edie and family, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. He and your mom were my Godparents and I have been thinking about how even after Joan passed he remembered my birthday every year, sending me little gifts. That house (with the pool) was always so warm and full of love and laughter. Such strong memories of our family vacations together too. I am hopeful and thankful that our Dad's, and all their buddies from childhood, are together again up in Heaven. I am thinking of you all..Love, Maura

Condolence: Stunned and sad. Friends and colleagues since freshman year in college,Peter was a superb student, modest, unassuming, wonderfully competent and always fun to be with. Since the day I met him I've always felt like a better person for having known him.His family has been blessed with the grace of having him as a husband and father. May he rest in peace.

Condolence: Edith, Mike, Lynn, Lisa, and Steven - It is with great sadness that I heard about Peter's passing, only one day after finding out he was ill. I recall coming to the house as a child, and it was always a house of warmth. Of course, seeing him over the years at the law firm, and having the benefit of his sage advice - always given with a ready smile. It was never a surprise to me that his partnership with my Dad worked so well, for so many years. His eulogy at Dad's funeral was very moving, and although I don't have the words I know the memories of him will be just as heart felt, not only for me, but for so many of those whose lives he touched over the years. Our deepest condolences to you and your extended families - John & Susan

Condolence: Our condolences are with the Barry family at this time of sorrow. I have known Peter since we were students at Bulkeley High and have very fond memories of our time there. Everyone looked up to Peter as an effective leader and a sincere friend. He lived his life with purpose and conviction and treated all with dignity and respect. May you find peace knowing that his good work and the love he shared will always be with you.

Condolence: Barry Kids -
Sad to hear of your dad's passing.
I remember his smile and how you all resembled him a bit in your smiles/demeanor.
Memories of Corpus Christi & Glastonbury Hills...seem a lifetime ago.
God bless you all.
Just as my dad continues to live through the Rumley kids, M. Peter remains in you!
