The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dean Hokanson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Dean is an extraordinary man, doctor and professor. For the last 7 years I have had the pleasure of working with him at his answering service, part time and the esteem pleasure of having him as my doctor for 2 years. I will genuinely miss him and our talks. He will be sorely missed by all. "Hey there, this is Dean checking in"... I can't believe you're gone and we will never hear those words again. Rest peacefully Dr. Hokanson! We love you!

Condolence: Dean and I worked closely as a fellow psychologists with a strong interest in helping patients return to function after a work injury. We always had a great time collaborating on treatment plans and discussing our shared patient and interests. It is a credit to Dean that he always went the extra mile with patients in the complex planning required in an interdisciplinary model of treatment and we enjoyed some great outcomes!
