The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dorothy Tuohy can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I had the privilege of working with Dot early in my career at Martin Luther King School in Hartford. She was one classy lady! Dot was extremely professional, had excellent work ethic and was always impeccably dressed.
Dot was very calm and composed on the outside but had such a great sense of humor. I would often try to shock her by saying something a little out of line. Dot always had an unexpected comeback and we would look at each other and laugh. She made it worth going to work every day and we always had our daily talk and daily laugh. She took good care of me and was a wonderful lady.
I will always have fond memories of Dot. She was a true friend.
I send my deepest sympathy to Jim, Mary Lou, Geralyn and their families.

Condolence: Thoughts and prayers to your family in the loss of a wonderful woman! I had the good fortune to work with Dot at Martin Luther King School. She was the BEST dressed secretary! She was kind, calm, collected and would sometimes shock you with her sense of humor! She was the definition of "class". She took great care of us all! She will be missed!

Condolence: Dear Tuohy, Eagan, Duffy, and Frobel families, I was saddened to learn of the passing of "Dot" Tuohy. Over my years at Northwest Catholic High School I had many opportunities to converse with Dot and Jim as they followed the progress of their family members at our school. She always impressed me as a caring, interested, and family centered person. I know that she took great pleasure in watching all of you grow into the fine men and women that you are today. I am sure that all of you greatly appreciate the part that she played in all of your lives and that you will always keep her memory in a special place in your hearts. Please accept my heart felt condolences for your loss and know that my thoughts and prayers are with both her and you at this time, Sincerely, John C. Shukie NWC Retired Baltimore MD.
