Obituary for Joseph E. Jordan

Joseph E.  Jordan
Joseph E. Jordan, 75, of Wethersfield, loving husband of Greta (Boucher) Jordan, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 12, 2016 in Hartford Hospital. Joseph was born December 16, 1940 and raised in Hartford, son of the late Joseph F. and Albertine (LeFebvre) Jordan. Joe was a graduate of Bulkeley High School after which he enlisted in the US Army. Prior to his retirement, he was a Printer for Colt Industries and Aetna Insurance. Joe was a 4th degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Newington Council 3884, for 50 years. Along with his wife Greta, Joe will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his two daughters, Tonya Milvae and her husband Raymond, of Wethersfield, Amy Motes and her husband David, of Rocky Hill three grandchildren, Raymond Milvae, Joseph and Abagail Motes, a brother, Michael Jordan and his wife “Cookie”, of Windsor Locks; two sisters, Patti Cheever of South Windsor, Janet Morrell of Windsor Locks; a sister–in-law, Mary Beth Jordan of Hartford; an aunt, Betty Jordan of East Hampton and many cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Joe was pre-deceased by his brother, Richard Jordan.
Friends and relatives may call on the family Sunday July 17, 2016 from 3pm to 6pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd, Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Joe’s life will be held Monday July 18, 2016 at 11am in Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St., Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
