Guida (Querido) Loura, 66, wife of Jose Loura of Rocky Hill died Saturday June 30, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born in Mira de Aire, Portugal , daughter of the late Inocencio and Adelina (Noiva) Querido and lived in the Hartford area most of her adult life. Prior to her retirement, Guida was employed by Bank of America. She was also a parishioner of St. James Church in Rocky Hill. Besides her husband Joe, Guida leaves 2 sons and a daughter, Daniel Loura and his wife Laura Monti of Bedford, NH, Mark Loura of Oakland, CA, and Melissa Loura and her husband David Peisach of Newton, MA. She also leaves 3 grandchildren, Christian Loura, Jacqueline Loura and Malia Peisach, a sister Maria Odete Rosa and her husband Marcolino, and a sister in law, Lucinda Querido. She was pre-deceased by her brother Joaquim Querido. Her kind and generous spirit will be greatly missed by her family which also includes numerous nieces and nephews, brother- and sister in laws, and many caring friends. The funeral will be held Friday July 6, 2012 at 9:15 am from the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd. Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. James Church 767 Elm St. Rocky Hill. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 pm Thursday July 5, 2012.
