Christine Driscoll, 26, of Atlanta, GA, formerly of Wethersfield, beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, and niece, cousin, and friend, passed away suddenly and is now at peace, Thursday, March 29, 2012. Christine was born in Hartford, February 10, 1986, and raised in Wethersfield; she was the eldest child of William T. and Jean E. (Taylor) Driscoll. She attended Wethersfield Public Schools, graduating from Wethersfield High School in 2004, continuing her education at Manchester Community College where she earned an Associate Degree. Like father like daughter, Christine was full of life and spunk. She was very religious, had a gift for writing, along with being very giving. Along with her parents, Christine will be fondly remembered and cherished by her loving family; a brother Timothy P. Driscoll; a sister, Laura K. Driscoll, both of Wethersfield; her paternal grandparents, Bernard J. and Lorraine (Stevens) Driscoll, of Rocky Hill; her maternal grandmother, Carol (Speno) Roy and her husband Albert, of Ocala, FL, maternal grandfather, Paul Taylor in CA; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many close and dear friends. And last but not to be forgotten, Christine’s four legged children, her dog Daisy and her cat Douglas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 4th at 10am in the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect St., Wethersfield, with Rev. Fr. James Moran officiating. Inurnment will follow the mass in the family plot in Village Cemetery (Willard Section), Marsh St., Old Wethersfield. The family requests in lieu of flowers, and that memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, as Christine worked with many children throughout her life.
