Ruth (Mitchell) Kelly, of Wethersfield, devoted wife of the late John R. “Pop” Kelly, died Monday, February 13, 2012. Ruth was a longtime Wethersfield resident and member of Corpus Christi Church. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the Travelers Insurance Co. Ruth will be remembered by her loving family; her two daughters and their spouses, Joan Kelly and Bartholomew Vitti of Arlington, MA, Susan Kelly and Steven Crusberg of Portland, CT, her precious granddaughter, Emily Kelly Crusberg; her sister, Annrita Williamson and her husband Weldon, of East Hartford; along with many nieces and nephews, most especially her godchild Mary R. Dempsey. Relatives and friends may call on the family, Thursday, February 16, from 8:30am to 9:30am, at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Interment will follow in the family plot in Village Cemetery, Harris Section, Marsh St., Old Wethersfield.
