Maura C. Murphy, of Hartford entered into the Lord’s embrace Sunday, May 8, 2011. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Elizabeth (Farrell) Murphy. She graduated from Mt. St. Joseph Academy. Maura worked for many years with the Traveler’s Insurance Co. before her retirement. She is survived by her sister, Clare T. Murphy of Wethersfield, her brother-in-law Dominick Fantini of Ocean City, N.J., a niece, Joanne Fantini of Newport, R.I. and two nephews, Michael Fantini and his wife Anne and their children, Elizabeth, Michael, and Anneliese of Annandale, VA, and John Fantini of NY, NY. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sisters, Elizabeth Fantini, and Patricia M. Murphy. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 9:30 from the Farley Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd, Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Ave, Hartford. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, 1 Cottage Grove Rd, Bloomfield. Friends and relatives may call on the family, Thursday, May 12, 2011, from 8:30 -9:30am at the Funeral Home.
