Helen (Krushinski) Milchenski, 87, of Glastonbury, beloved wife of the late William T. Milchenski, passed away peacefully, Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Glastonbury Healthcare. Born, December 20, 1914 in Nanticoke, PA, she was a longtime resident of Glastonbury along with being a member of St. Paul Church, Glastonbury. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at the Travelers Insurance Co. for many years. Helen will be fondly remembered by her family, her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Dr. Herbert Rothman; two adoring granddaughters, Jennifer and Victoria Rothman, all of Florida. In addition to her husband, Helen was predeceased by her son Joseph Milchenski. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Helen’s life will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 10am in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St. Glastonbury (all are asked to go directly to the church). Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery (Section K), Burnside Ave. East Hartford. There are no calling hours. The Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Ave. Glastonbury has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Helen’s name to a charity of the donor’s choice.
