MIGA. Nellie S. (Zapor) Miga, 89, formerly of Jameswell Rd. Wethersfield, beloved wife of the late John Miga, passed away peacefully Sunday November 7, 2010. Born in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Frances (Zebrowski) Zapor. She lived in Wethersfield for over 36 years. Nellie was a Royal Typewriter Company retiree, which is where she first met her husband John. She was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church, Wethersfield and SS Cyril and Methodius Church, Hartford. Nellie is survived by her two sisters, Alice Pasha of Windsor and Cecelia Maliszewski and her husband, Tom, of Farmington; along with many beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Stanley and William Zapor and a sister Helen Zapor Duncan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 11, at 10am in SS Cyril & Methodius Church, Popieluszko Court, Hartford. Interment will follow in Village Cemetery, Marsh St., Wethersfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Nellie’s name to Masonicare Partners Home Health Care & Hospice, 111 Founders Plaza, Suite 200, East Hartford, CT 06108.
