Christopher J. Solak 51, of Groton entered into the Lord’s embrace Monday, September 6, 2010. Born in Hartford he was the son of the late Frank and Minna (Kahl) Solak. Chris was an Electrician and worked at both the Aetna and A-Z Electric. He dearly loved his four daughters. He also loved fishing, the ocean and all of the outdoors. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his son, Jason Solak. Sharing in their loss are his daughters, Ashly Solak, Rebecca Solak, Casey Solak, and Alyssa Solak, his two brothers, Frank Solak and his wife Cindy and David Solak and his wife Lynn, two sisters, Cynthia Nolan and Lori Solak, a brother in law, Steve Mountzoures, eleven nieces and nephews and one grand nephew, as well as the mother of his children, Donna Johnson and many close friends and family. Friends and relatives may call on the family, Friday September 10, between 4-8pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Avenue, Glastonbury, during which time a Funeral service, celebrating Christopher’s life will be held at 7pm.
