Anthony J. Bartolone, 96, of Wethersfield and Rocky Hill, entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Born in New York, New York, he was an Army veteran of WW II who served in the European Theater, including the D-Day Invasion and the ensuing Allied invasion of occupied France and Germany. For his valor, Anthony received an Army Ribbon with 6 Bronze Stars and a Good Conduct Metal. After WWII, Anthony lived in the Hartford area for many years working in merchandising and sales. Friends and relatives may meet to honor Anthony at a graveside service with full military honors, Monday, June 28, 2010 at 11:30am in the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery, Bow Lane, Middletown.
