Nancy A. (Jacobs) Robinson, 72, formerly of Hartford, entered into the Lord’s embrace Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in Temple, Texas. Born in Hartford she was the daughter of the late Edward and Anna (Conners) Jacobs. Nancy enjoyed many years during her career with the City of Hartford as a Dispatcher for city’s Police and Fire Departments. An avid gardener her green thumb showed her talent most especially with flowers. Nancy also found joy with visits to the ocean and all animals. Joined in their loss are her sons; Bruce Robinson and Sara Armstrong of Meriden, Mark Robinson and his wife, Diana of Temple, Texas, Eric Robinson and his wife, Sheila of Cromwell and her cherished grandchildren, Mikayla, Jordyn, Bruce, Peter and Cody Robinson. She also leaves her brother, Kenneth Jacobs and his wife Caroline of Unionville, and a very good friend, Elaine Cooker of Bristol, and several nephews. Nancy was predeceased by her brother, Edward Jacobs. A Memorial Service celebrating Nancy’s life will be held Friday, April 16, 2010 at 7pm in the Farley Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd, Wethersfield. Friends and relatives may call on the family Friday, April 16, 2010 from 4-7pm at the Funeral Home.
