Harold E. Speight Jr, of Wethersfield, died March 25, 2010 in Hartford Hospital he was the husband of the late Barbara (McGiveron) Speight. He was born in Woodbury NJ son of the late Dr. Harold E. and Virginia (Burbage) Speight Sr. Harold was a veteran of the US Navy, serving during WW II. Prior to his retirement he was an Electrical Engineer for Northeast Utilities. Harold is survived by a son, Mark E. Speight of Pittsfield NH, a brother Kevin Speight and his wife Gwen of Annapolis MD and also leaves his longtime companion, Linda Jacobson of Wethersfield. He was predeceased by his brothers, Jerome A. Speight and James Speight. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
