Margaret (Hoadley) Mockus, 78, of South Glastonbury, beloved wife of Edward W. Mockus, entered eternal peace Thursday July 24, 2008 at Hartford Hospital. Margaret was born in Middletown, daughter to the late James and Margaret (Haas) Hoadley and resided in South Glastonbury most of her life. In addition to her husband, Edward, her memory will be cherished by her son, Donald R. Harris & his companion Karen of Rocky Hill; four daughters, Deborah Levesque & her husband Randall of Bloomfield, Donna Karlson of Manchester, Darlene Williams of Manchester, and Cynthia Spada & her husband Christopher of South Glastonbury; three grandchildren, Darlene Margaret Williams, Robin Williams, and Jennifer Karlson all of Manchester; three sisters, Althea Foerch of Virginia, Frances Schum & her husband John of Clinton, and Jean Rutty of Deep River; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center, 85 Retreat Avenue, Hartford, CT 06106.
