Konstantina “Tina” Trzcinski, 80 of Glastonbury, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt peacefully passed away Monday, March 22, 2010 at Salmon Brook Center in Glastonbury. Tina was born December 3, 1929 in Hartford. She worked at First Federal Savings in Glastonbury until her retirement. She was a member of St. Paul’s Parish in Glastonbury. Tina was dedicated to her family and her church, having provided many hours of love, joy, and care to all of us. Tina was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Stanley Trzcinski and her much loved granddaughter, Emily Jean Mailman. She leaves her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Matthew Mailman of Windsor Locks; sons, Paul Trzcinski of Farmingdale, NY, and Peter Trzcinski and his wife Anne of Glastonbury. Tina was known as Ma and Nana to her beloved grandchildren, Bryan Mailman and his fiancé Leanne Fontana of Canton, Ashley Mailman of Windsor Locks, and PJ and Leah Trzcinski of Glastonbury. She also leaves her sister and brother-in-law, Thea and Anthony Bazzini and their children, Evan and A.L. all of Virginia; her aunt, Peggy Barthomay of East Hartford; as well as many special “Trzcinski and Georgiades” nieces and nephews. Tina’s family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Paul Vella and his staff, and the staff at Salmon Brook Center for all the care and support that she received. Funeral services will be held Thursday March 25, 2010, commencing at 9:00am from the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Avenue, Glastonbury, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Tina’s life at 10:00am in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main Street, Glastonbury. Interment will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery, Hopewell Road, South Glastonbury. Her family will receive family and friends Today, March 24, 2010 from 5-8pm at the Funeral Home. Memorial donations can be made in Tina’s name to the Emily Jean Mailman Scholarship Fund “Dollars for Scholars” P.O. Box 653, Windsor Locks, CT 06096.
