Kathleen Theresa (Blake) Trzaskos, of West Hartford, ended her journey here on Earth on March 8, 2010. The only child of the late Thomas and Mary (Murray) Blake of Hartford, Kathleen rests in their arms once again. The sudden and untimely loss of her father was a Cross Kathleen remained unable to bear. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her ex-husband, Frank V. Trzaskos. Kathleen was born in Hartford, grew up in West Hartford, where she graduated from Mount Saint Joseph Academy, and held a nursing career in several area hospitals and nursing homes. During her marriage, she was blessed with four children, whom she leaves to remember her “Fighting Irish Spirit”; her two daughters and sons in law, Colleen and Gordon DelMastro of Glastonbury, and Karen and Michael Forde of Dunmore, Ireland; two sons Morgan Trzaskos, and Thomas and Bonnie Trzaskos all of Arizona. In addition to her children, Kathleen will also be remembered by her eleven grandsons and six granddaughters. She will be especially missed by her “game day” partner, Regina Faith DelMastro of Glastonbury. “You did your best Mom, may you rest in peace”. Funeral procession from the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Ave., Glastonbury, will be held Friday March 12, 2010, commencing at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Kathleen’s life at 10:00am in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury.
