Frances A. Gilberto, 94, lifelong Hartford resident, entered eternal peace Saturday January 2, 2010 at Ellis Manor. Born March 24, 1915 in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Josephine (Blancato) Gilberto. Frances was a Press Operator for the Royal Typewriter for many years prior to her retirement. Frances will be fondly remembered by her extended family; her nephew, LeRoy Bidwell of East Hartford; two nieces, Joanne Bidwell of Old Saybrook & Florida, and Michele Lucas and her husband William of Manchester; eleven great grand nieces and nephews; fourteen great great grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Mary Bidwell. Funeral procession will be Wednesday January 6, 2010 at10:30am, from the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Avenue, Hartford. Interment will follow in the family plot in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, (Section L), 1 Cottage Grove Road, Bloomfield. Frances’s family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday 1 hour prior to the Mass from 9:30am to 10:30am.
