Irene Frances (Fletcher) Misner, 99, of Hartford, beloved wife of the late Arthur Roy Misner, entered eternal peace Thursday, (September 24, 2009) at Newington Health Care Center. She was the daughter of the late Edward Charles and Emily (Conrad) Fletcher. Irene was the loving mother of Carrie Divine of Fredonia, NY, A. Edward Misner of Anna Maria, FL, and Mary Procyk of Wethersfield; and loving grandmother of seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Irene was born, raised, and married in Chicago, IL, then went on to live in Pittsburgh, PA for 62 years, of which the last ten years where spent at Asbury Heights. She came to Connecticut, lived three years at Avery Heights of Hartford. A memorial service celebrating Irene's life will be held October 17, at 11 a.m., directly in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 371 Wolcott Hill Road, Wethersfield, with The Rev. Hugh R.B. Haffenreffer, Pastor, officiating. Donations may be made in Irene's name to Autism Speaks, 5455 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 2250, Los Angeles, CA 90036 (www.autismspeaks.org). Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, Wethersfield.
