Sandra Ann (Vitkus) Thibodeau, our beautiful, much loved sister Sandy, left this world to go to the next on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10, 2009, to be with her own mother who predeceased her by six months. They were quite a pair. She leaves behind to mourn her, yet rejoice that she is now free from sickness and pain, her sister, Susan LaClair & husband, Frederick; brother, Paul Vitkus and wife Pam; and nephews, Erick LaClair and wife, Tiffany, Jeremy LaClair and fiancée, Tanya James and Brandon Vitkus, her niece, Katrina LaClair, great nephews, Tristan LaClair and Brennan Vitkus and great niece, Amari Vitkus , as well as her uncle, the Rev. William Brenza of Mary Our Queen Church in Southington, CT. The family wishes to thank her nurses, Jill Raymond, Susan Ahrens, and friend and nurse, Karen Huckin for their tender and loving care. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 11am in the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Ave., Glastonbury with Bishop Sowa of the Church of Latter-day Saints presiding. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, New London Tpk., Glastonbury. Friends and relatives may call on the family TODAY, May 12, 2009 from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
