JACLYN LEE SPELLMAN, age 25, of Sugar Land, TX, and a longtime resident of Wethersfield, CT., passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009, in Houston, TX. Jackie graduated from Wethersfield High School, and then moved to Boston, MA, to attend Northeastern University, where she was a starting defender for their Division-1 NCAA soccer team. Jackie graduated with honors in 2007, receiving her degree in Business Marketing. She moved to Houston in March 2008 after accepting an offer to work with the NFL’s Houston Texans. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Carol Webster. Jackie is survived by her father, Steven Spellman and stepmother Darlene; mother, Laurie Meyer and stepfather Bob; sisters, Amanda Spellman, Kristy Pierce, and Britni Spellman; brothers, Kristopher and Justin Macri, and Robert Meyer, Jr.; grandparents, Lawrence Webster, Raymond Mark and Joan Spellman, and Earle and Joan Varney; sister-in-law, Christy Macri; brother-in-law, Will Pierce; nieces and nephews, who were the apples of her eye, Frankie and Bella Pappa, Jalen Pierce, and “little” Kris Macri; and by several aunts and uncles, as well as many relatives and friends too “numerous” to mention. Visitation: Sunday, May 3, 2009, 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, ethersfield. Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, May 4, 2009, 10:00 AM, Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Rite of Committal: The Village Cemetery, Wethersfield.
